（转载自：厦门大学新闻网）11月21日，“2020永续海洋论坛暨福建海洋可持续发展研究院学术委员会扩大会议”（下称：会议）在厦门海景千禧大酒店召开。会议主题为“中国海洋智库在国际国内海洋治理中的作用研讨与经验分享暨智库建设研讨”。本次会议由厦门大学、中国海洋发展基金会、福建省海洋与渔业局主办，福建海洋可持续发展研究院（厦门大学）（简称：福建海洋智库）承办，天津大学海洋科学与技术学院、海南热带海洋学院、厦门大学南海研究院、厦门大学海洋文明与战略发展研究中心共同协办。
本次会议吸引了来自全国20多个科研院所、政府部门的专家学者，中国科学院苏纪兰院士、戴民汉院士、洪华生教授、潘新春教授等多个海洋学界资深专家出席会议，福建省海洋与渔业局副局长翁新平致开幕辞。专家们针对中国海洋智库在国际国内海洋治理中的作用展开研讨、分享经验，并深入探讨未来海洋智库的建设工作。会上，厦门大学党委副书记、纪委书记全海教授宣布福建海洋智库学术委员会的成立并发表讲话，表示“厦门大学会把握良机，全力支持智库的各项工作，支持该‘海洋科学与技术福建省实验室’先行先试机构的建设！”
会议分为大会发言和海洋智库建设研讨两个环节。大会发言环节，中国科学院院士、福建海洋可持续发展研究院顾问苏纪兰研究员主持会议，戴民汉以及其他六位重量级嘉宾围绕会议主题分别作了精彩演讲，与参会人员分享了他们在海洋智库建设方面的经验和建议。海洋智库建设研讨会由海研究院学术委员会副主任潘新春教授主持，与会嘉宾在听取福建海洋智库总协调人薛雄志教授关于智库的建设方案和思路的介绍后，就如何开展智库的建设与发展工作积极献谋献策。
会议表示，厦门大学的一流学科和人才团队为中国海洋智库建设奠定了良好的基础。如何借助这一优势，通过建立高效的运营机制，将科学真正转化成为决策者切实可行的实践方案，将会是福建海洋智库接下来重点探索的方向。
On November 21st, the Workshop on Sustainable Oceans 2020, themed with Role of Think Tank in Domestic and International Ocean Governance and Experience Sharing, was held in Millennium Harbouview Hotel Xiamen. The workshop was co-sponsored by Xiamen University (XMU), China Oceanic Development Foundation (CODF), Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, organized by Fujian Institute for Sustainable Oceans (FISO) of XMU, and co-convened by School of Marine Science and Technology of Tianjin University, Hainan Tropical Ocean University, South China Sea Institute of XMU and Research Center for Marine Civilization and Strategic Development of XMU.
The workshop attracted senior experts and scholars from more than 20 scientific research institutes and government departments, including Prof. Su Jilan, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Dai Minhan, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Hong Huasheng, Director Emeritus, State Key Lab of Marine Environmental Science of XMU, Prof. Pan Xinchun, Secretary General of CODF and other leading experts in the field of marine science. Mr. Weng Xinping, Deputy Director General of Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries delivered an opening speech for the workshop. Prof. Quan Hai, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of XMU, announced the establishment of the Academic Committee of FISO and made a speech, saying that “XMU will seize the opportunity to fully support the work of FISO and the construction of the Fujian Laboratory of Marine Science and Technology”. Moderated by Prof. Su Jilan, seven speakers delivered a presentation respectively to share their experience and insights of think tank in ocean governance and sustainable ocean and coastal development.
XMU’s first-class disciplines and talent teams have laid a good foundation for the construction of China's marine think tank. How to make use of this advantage to truly transform science into practical programs for decision makers through the establishment of an efficient operation mechanism will be the focus of the future exploration of FISO.
