2021年12月20日，第二届中国-东盟“向海而学”学生视频大赛（2021SFC）总结交流会暨颁奖典礼在天津大学通过线上线下结合的方式举行。本次视频大赛由天津大学中国-东盟智慧海洋中心主办，福建海洋可持续发展研究院（厦门大学）具体协办，中国-东盟中心和国家海洋博物馆为本次活动的支持单位，为本次视频大赛的顺利举办提供了支持。
本次视频大赛涵盖了海洋碳中和、海洋新能源、海洋污染迁移、海洋可持续管理、极端天气、海洋生态修复、海洋微塑料、海洋濒危物种、海洋守卫者和海洋文化等共计10个主题。大赛自2021年世界海洋日(6月8日)开赛，共吸引了来自中国(含港澳台)、泰国、马来西亚、印尼、新加坡、柬埔寨、菲律宾等7个国家、41所高校的近千名参赛选手参加，有效投稿达到359个，投稿数量和参赛人数均创新高。大赛最终角逐出10名一等奖、20名二等奖以及40名人气奖。
中国—东盟智慧海洋中心学术委员会主任潘德炉院士、印尼驻华使馆教育参赞Yaya Sutarya、马来西亚留华同学会会长Chek Lim Bock、柬埔寨皇家科学院国际中文教育学院院长Vuth Sophakna、泰国教育部国际战略合作事务综合科科长Sudaporn Imcharoen通过视频方式分别致辞。颁奖典礼由天津大学国际合作与交流处处长张振主持，天津大学校领导谭欣应邀出席并致辞。中国—东盟中心教育文旅部教育官员何薇、国家海洋博物馆馆长黄克力、中国—东盟智慧海洋中心特聘研究员罗续业、中国海洋学会科普工作委员会主任曲探宙、福建海洋可持续发展研究院（厦门大学）院长薛雄志、青岛海洋科学与技术试点国家实验室装备与技术研发部部长谭攻克以及来自中国、马来西亚、印度尼西亚、泰国、新加坡、柬埔寨、菲律宾等知名高校的近200名代表，通过线上线下结合方式参加了本次颁奖典礼。
On 20 December 2021, the 2ndASEAN-China “Learning about Ocean” Student Film Competition (2021SFC) Award and Closing Ceremony was held at Tianjin University with online and offline venues. The film competition was organized by the ASEAN-China Smart Ocean Center of Tianjin University and co-organized by the Fujian Institute for Sustainable Oceans (Xiamen University), with the support of the ASEAN-China Centre and the National Maritime Museum China.
The film competition covers a total of 10 themes, including Marine Carbon Neutral, Marine New Energy, Marine Pollutant Transfer, Innovation Marine Sustainable Management, Extreme Weather Conditions, Marine Ecological Restoration, Marine Microplastic, Marine Endangered Species, Guardians of Ocean and Ocean-related Stories. Since the launching of the competition on World Oceans Day 2021 (8 June), it has received a record number of submissions and a record number of participants. Nearly 1000 participants from 41 universities in 7 countries joined the competition with 359 valid submissions, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and also China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). 10 first prizes, 20 second prizes and 40 popularity prizes were awarded in the competition.
Academician Pan Delu, Director of the ASEAN-China Smart Ocean Center Academic Committee; Mr. Yaya Sutarya, Education Counsellor of the Indonesian Embassy in China; Mr. Chek Lim Bock, President of Association of Graduates from Universities and Colleges of China in Malaysia; Dr. Vuth Sophakna, General Director of International Chinese Education and Teachers Institute at Royal Academy of Cambodia; and Ms. Sudaporn Imcharoen, Director of International Resources Utilization and Promotion Group, International Affairs Division, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Thailand delivered their speeches online. The award ceremony was hosted by Ms. Zhang Zhen, Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of Tianjin University. Dr. Tan Xin, professor of Tianjin University, was invited to deliver a speech. Ms. He Wei, Officer of Education, Culture and Tourism Division of ASEAN-China Centre; Mr. Huang Keli, Curator of National Maritime Museum of China, Mr. Luo Xuye, Distinguished Researcher of ASEAN-China Smart Ocean Centre, Mr. Qu Tanzhou, Director of Science Popularization Committee of the Chinese Society of Oceanography, Prof. Xue Xiongzhi, Dean of Fujian Institute for Sustainable Oceans (Xiamen University), Mr. Tan Gongke, Head of Equipment and Technology R&D Department of Pilot National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology (Qingdao) and nearly 200 representatives from Cambodia China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand also attended this ceremony.
