5月22日-26日,印尼茂物农业大学Luky Adrianto教授、印尼海洋事务与渔业部海洋空间规划主任Suharyanto先生、印尼阿拉弗拉海和帝汶海生态系统项目主任Handoko Adi Susanto博士、印尼卡渣玛达大学Doddy Aditya Iskandar副教授一行到访闽海院,开展为期五天的学术交流与访问。
Luky Adrianto教授一行与闽海院团队首先就海洋空间规划相关议题展开研讨。闽海院院长薛雄志教授欢迎了Luky教授一行的到来,并对厦门大学地球科学与技术学部、闽海院团队、研究领域及在海岸带可持续发展领域所开展的相关工作等进行了介绍。随后,闽海院马来西亚空间规划(MMSP)项目组分别就中国海洋空间规划概况、厦门海洋空间规划、MMSP项目及其工作进展进行了简要介绍。Suharyanto先生、Handoko Adi Susanto博士和Doddy Aditya Iskandar副教授分别围绕印尼海洋空间规划现状、印尼省级海洋空间规划经验、区域海洋空间规划与案例研讨等议题作了分享;Luky Adrianto教授对双方合作开展海洋空间规划研究的可能路径和具体规划提出了探讨。双方还就在印尼开展海洋空间规划的合作机会展开研讨,包括可借鉴的海洋空间规划经验、拟合作开展海洋空间规划的区域、合作计划、可能存在的问题与解决方案等,并达成了初步的合作意向。

印尼代表团此行还就“海丝”沿线国家海岸带可持续发展能力指数评价项目(以下简称“能力指数评价”)与闽海院展开深入交流。能力指数评价是闽海院承担的重要科研项目,它首次对“海丝”沿线国家的海岸带可持续发展能力进行了评估。交流会上,能力指数评价报告编写组主要执笔人付伊秋对研究目标、研究方法与研究成果等进行简要介绍。随后,双方就报告中指标体系的合理性、有效性、可操作性等展开了热烈的讨论,对进一步优化指标体系进行了深入的探讨,并对未来双方在该项目的合作进行了规划。

此次印尼代表团访厦,薛雄志教授还详细介绍了厦门ICM近三十年的历程,结合实地踏勘全方面地展示了厦门几个主要示范点综合治理前后的变化,及海岸带可持续发展对社会、经济的积极促进作用,给到访的印尼嘉宾留下了深刻的印象。闽海院副院长李杨帆教授,院长助理张增凯教授、李妍婷博士,项目设计与推广部、能力建设部及相关课题组成员参加了交流活动。

From May 22 to 26, four Indonesian delegates including Prof. Luky Adrianto from IPB University (IPB), Mr. Suharyanto from Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MoMAF), Dr. Handoko Adi Susanto from The Arafura and Timor Seas Ecosystem Action (ATSEA) Programme, and Dr. Doddy Aditya Iskandar from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) made a 5-day visit to FISO for academic exchange.
The delegation, led by Prof. Luky Adrianto, had an intensive discussion with the FISO team on marine spatial planning (MSP). Prof. XUE Xiongzhi, Dean of FISO, warmly welcomed the group and made an introduction to the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology of XMU, FISO and its faculty team, research directions and the practices FISO has made in the field of sustainable coastal development. The FISO MSP team followed to make presentations on the overview of MSP in China, MSP in Xiamen, Joint Malaysia Marine Spatial Planning Project and its progress respectively. The Indonesian delegation shared MSP in Indonesia at different levels. Mr. Suharyanto presented the MSP at national level and its status quo, while Dr. Handoko shared provincial level MSP in Indonesia, and Dr. Doddy brought the overview of regional MSP in Indonesia with case studies. Dr. Luky then proposed the roadmap for a joint Indonesia MSP Project for discussion. The two sides shared an in-depth discussion on the opportunities for joint Indonesian MSP Project cooperation, experience and lessons, pilot MSP site, challenges, and possible solutions, etc., and reached a preliminary agreement on the joint MSP Project in Indonesia.
The Indonesian delegation also shared their ideas on the Capacity Index of Sustainable Coastal Development for Countries Along the Maritime Silk Road Program (the Index program), which is one of the key research programs that carried out by FISO, and a first of its kind to assess the capacity of sustainable coastal development for countries along the maritime silk road. Fu Yiqiu, lead editor of the Index assessment report, presented the research targets, methodology and the research results. The presentation led to a discussion on the validity and effectiveness of the indicator system, as well as how to further improve the indicator systems and next steps for cooperation.
During the visit, Prof. XUE Xiongzhi also introduced the progress that Xiamen has made after 30-year integrated coastal management. With field visits, the Indonesian group were deeply impressed by the significant changes brought about by ICM in these three decades, and the social and economic benefits generated by healthier coastal environment. Deputy Dean of FISO Prof. LI Yangfan, Assistant to the Dean Prof. ZHANG Zengkai and Dr. LI Yanting, together with staff from Department of Program Design and Marketing, Department of Capacity Building and Communication, and all the members of both the MMSP and Index Program, attended the discussion.
The visit has promoted the mutual understanding between FISO and IPB, UMG as well as MoMAF. It will enable further exchange and cooperation on sustainable coastal development and contribute to the strategic partnership between China and Indonesia.
